I am glad things are rockin' on at vc -- keeping the dream alive, ha.
Would love to be there but work and family constraints won't allow it. All the best to everyone there.
I attached a photo of me in my office taken in June 2008. I am working as a lecturer (got a MSc) at a branch of Liverpool University near Shanghai in China in English for Academic Purposes. I have been in China for the past eleven years.
Maybe I'll make it to the 50TH reunion (God willing!)
Love & best wishes to all

Hi guys,
Sorry I won’t be able to make it to the reunion but I’m not exactly local. I live in La Ronge, a small (population 3500) Cree community in northern Saskatchewan. I work for the Mamawetan Churchill River Health Region as the clinical supervisor for mental health and addictions services. I’ve been with my partner Donna for what she calls “twenty-six long and difficult years” (not sure what she means by that). Donna works as the outreach coordinator for the Piwapin Native Women’s Shelter and we both teach online courses for the Centre for Adult Learning and Community Outreach at Brock University. We moved here from Nunavut where I spent 2 years doing community development and teaching at Nunavut Arctic College. We really love the northern lifestyle (kayaking in the summer, snowshoeing in the winter). I’ll be thinking about you all next weekend. Maybe I’ll make it to the 50th.

It's a longshot that I can make it to the 40th celebrations. I'm still working as a journalism instructor at Lethbridge College in Alberta to pay the bills. Besides that, I have musical commitments. (The photo is of our Celtic band, Glencoulee, at a recent concert with me in the middle playing the bodhran.....shameless promotional moment.) However, as my good buddy Jim Williams says, my thoughts will be with everyone on the big weekend.
